Kamara Stancle [Women's Basketball '13]
Kamara Stancle is one of the most decorated women’s basketball players in Connors State College history.
Stancle, who graduated in 1997, was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association first team All-American in 1996 and 1997. She was also the Rawlings and NJCAA Player of the year in 1997 and led the Cowgirls to the Region II Championship in 1996 and a fifth place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament under head coach Monte Madewell with a 31-4 record.
Following graduation from Connors, she went on to play at the University of Arkansas where she was a member of the Lady Razorbacks Final Four team.
