Reggie Tinch [Men's Basketball '13]
Reggie Tinch attended Connors State College for two seasons where he led the Cowboys to a 59-5 record and a National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship in 1995.
Following CSC graduation, he attended the University of Georgia, where he played two seasons and was named to the Southeastern Conference All-SEC Defensive team. He then was the No. 1 draft pick of the CBA’s Lacrosse Catbirds.
When his basketball career was over, Tinch returned to Dougherty County School System in Georgia where he coached both basketball and football at his alma mater, Westover High School, for two seasons.
Tinch then moved to Atlanta and was employed by the city’s Parks and Recreation Division, coaching the Atlanta Celtics AAU team. During his 12-year stint, Tinch guided the No. 1 AAU basketball program to several national championships.
Tinch has been employed by AT&T for 15 years. During this time, he founded Dream Sports of America. He also is an ordained minister and is currently leading Champion for Christ Ministries in Riverdale, Ga.
He is married to Ulanda. They have three daughters: Jamecca, Regia and Rhyan.
