Nick Ditolla [Football '16]

Nick Ditolla graduated from Peabody High School in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, in 1962, where he played football, basketball, baseball and volleyball. Ditolla was named MVP in football as well as to Pittsburg’s All-City team.

Ditolla was nominated by his two football coaches, the late Harry Jackson in 1962 and Harold Cagle in 1963, both of whom suggested Ditolla was the best football player they ever coached at Connors State. After playing at Connors State, Ditolla went on the play for the University of Tulsa.

Ditolla’s coaching career landed him in Jenks, Oklahoma, where he coached volleyball for 25 years, football for 23 years, men’s basketball for 18 years, swimming for 16 years, tennis for three years, and baseball for one year. Ditolla currently is the assistant swim coach.

Ditolla has been instrumental in the athletic history in Jenks, having state champions and runner-ups in men’s and women’s volleyball, tennis, swimming, and football.

As a coach for numerous sports throughout his lifetime, Ditolla has an impressive record of more than 840 wins. He was co-founder of the State Volleyball Coaches Association and was named an Oklahoma All-State Coach twice.
