Biff Thompson [Outstanding Leadership '18]

Biff Thompson graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1971, before attending Oklahoma State University. After school, he developed his electrical contract company, Thompson Controls, where he serves as President. In 1992, Thompson moved his wife, Sally, and three sons to Webbers Falls, where they developed a love for fishing, hunting and baseball.

Through this love of baseball, Thompson met Connors Baseball Head Coach Perry Keith in 1996 at a youth baseball camp held on campus. Utilizing his expertise, Thompson offered to lead the project to install lights on the Connors State ball field at Perry Keith Park. Together with the help from the players, coaches and other volunteers the project was successfully completed in 20 days.

Thompson can be regularly found supporting the team. From watching practices and games to providing equipment to enhance the program, he has become a part of the Cowboy Baseball family. In 1997, the college chose to recognize his support by naming the Biff Thompson Field in his honor.
