William R. Lollis

William R. Lollis (Bill) attended Connors State College from 1955-57 on a football scholarship. While attending CSC he was Baptist Student Union President and was elected “Joe College”. In 1959 he earned a B.A. in Social Studies from Central State University at Edmond. In 1967, Mr. Lollis came to Connors as an assistant federal programs director. He remained at Connors for 23 years teaching sociology, anthropology, and working as a financial aid officer. During this time, he earned a MS from OSU and received a National Science Foundation award in his area of expertise. He completed his post graduate studies at the University of Colorado and the University of Missouri. While working at CSC, Mr. Lollis was a sponsor of BSU, Phi Theta Kappa, and was on the health sciences advisory board. During his tenure at CSC he was selected Connors Teacher of The Year. In 1990 Mr. Lollis organized the alumni group called Connors Former Students and was in this organization until 2000. Mr. Lollis is a member of Connors Development Foundation, Inc. and has served the board in various executive committee positions including chairman. He is an ardent CSC Basketball fan. Mr. Lollis and his wife, Doris have two children.
